Titans

The Titans are the first of the Elder Races created after the Ancients and are formed from the energy known as Trigenesis. The Elders created the Titans during the transition of the cosmos from a place of chaos to a place of order. They can be seen as cosmic guardians who's protection is well valued because of their ability to transform into giants, hence their name.

However, this isn't the true name of their race, which is Iapetus. This means, "The Giant Ones". They can transform from their small humanoid forms into massive beings that have strength and speed to match their size. Their abilities are also quite unique among them, as each Titan has a gift that is unique to their personality and life choices.

Titans are a race who's home is in the stars, as they were often seen guarding the passage to the outer realms and the inner planets, such as Earth. Titans are known for their one track minds and their dedication to the Elders, as well as their stubborn and serious personalities. The Elders have chosen the Titans to guard the passages of the cosmos because they are strong and committed, which makes them a good match for the job.

They are one of they only Elder Races that can breathe in the vacuum of space, allowing them to fight in the void with little equipment to help them with mobility. Some Titans are equivalent, if not greater, than the most advanced battle mech in the cosmos. Only a few Titans have trained themselves to learn how to use their special gifts to move freely in space, channeling the energy known as Umbra.

The Titans are also known for their talent in crafting and metal work, as they can create weapons and armor from metal that is mined from the core of planets within the cosmos. They have a strong connection to the elements as well, as they can wield the forces of nature with ease. Titans are connected to the source in a unique way, as they can connect to it directly without using structured methods like the Craft. This doesn't mean they don't use the Craft; it's just that they don't need it. Just like the Ancients, even though they are made differently, they have a natural ability to channel the sources energies.

They can interact with the different frequency waves found in the cosmos and can even create frequencies, which allows them to interact with the universe in many ways. Titans can analyze frequencies and in turn manipulate the energies to alter the frequency patterns of the wave. This allows them to become stronger and more durable in their physical forms, by changing their patterns of action and reaction, which in turn allows them to react faster as well. Their bodies are also able to endure extreme temperatures and pressure, which is highly advantageous for them.

Their bodies are not only able to handle the harsh conditions of space, but can also handle the pressures of traveling at speeds faster than light, which is especially necessary for them. Titans are also known for their ability to manipulate the forces of nature, which is not an easy task considering the Elders had to create special abilities and pathways in their minds, to allow them to understand nature in a way that no other Elder being could. Titans are masters of the elements and can express great control over them.

Being that the universe is full of many different types of elements, Titans can create things that are not only resistant to the elements, but can even manipulate them. This skill is imperative for those who are traveling through space, but it's also great for those who want to study the universe, as they can use the elements to create their own laboratories.

Along with the elements, a few Titans can also utilize the power of Umbra. This is a supermassive energy source that is made of dark matter, which acts as the building blocks of the universe. Titans have a special connection to the flow of this energy and can even use it to rearrange the phases and particles of matter, allowing them to create weapons and armor from this energy. The power of Umbra is something that not many beings have access to and gives Titans a great advantage over other Elder Races and other beings as well.

Titans are also the first ones to discover the secrets for the Astral Awakening and due to their interest in this subject, they have gathered a lot of information about the cosmos. This is one of the reasons the Elders have helped them to develop as a race, as they are eager students and like to explore new concepts when given the opportunity. While the Titans are powerful, they are not as strong as the Ancients, which is why they are not the guardians of the cosmos. They protect the boundaries between the inner and outer planets, as the Ancients guard the outer boundaries of the cosmos.
