Their role is pivotal in maintaining the balance and harmony within the society. Equaishi oversee legal proceedings and enact rulings, their decisions guided by the wisdom of the Eldorai and the laws of Magistri. They are responsible for interpreting these laws, applying them to various situations, and ensuring that all members of society are treated fairly and equitably. In addition to their legal duties, Equaishi also play a crucial role in conflict resolution. They mediate disputes, both within Magistri and with external entities, working towards peaceful and fair resolutions. Their goal is not just to resolve conflicts, but to do so in a way that upholds the principles of Magistri and promotes unity and understanding. Like all members of Magistri, Equaishi are masters of self-refinement and control. They are expected to have a deep understanding of empathy, self-control, psychology, and self-understanding. Their role requires them to be impartial and fair, but also compassionate and understanding, able to see all sides of a situation and make decisions that are in the best interest of all parties involved. Equaishi undergo rigorous training to prepare them for their role. This training includes not just legal studies, but also studies in diplomacy, conflict resolution, and the principles of Magistri. They are also trained in the Univoxa language, the official language of Magistri, enabling them to communicate effectively with all members of the society. As the second nara in the Magistri hierarchy, Equaishi hold a position of respect and trust within society.
