As the first level in the chain of command within Magistri, Kesento play a vital role in maintaining the harmony and order of society. They are the backbone of daily operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the communities they serve. Kesento are responsible for enforcing Magistri laws and directives at a local level, a role that encompasses a wide range of duties from maintaining public order and safety to overseeing local administrative tasks.

Kesento are more than just enforcers; they serve as a vital link between the citizens and the higher ranks of Magistri. They are the ears on the ground, listening to the concerns and grievances of the people, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed. They also play a crucial role in educating the populace about the laws and principles of Magistri, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

Selected for their integrity, dedication, and understanding of the Magistri principles, Kesento undergo rigorous training to equip them with the skills needed to perform their duties effectively. This training covers a broad spectrum, including understanding the laws and directives of Magistri, conflict resolution, crisis management, and community engagement.

In addition to these skills, Kesento are also expected to have a keen understanding of empathy, self-control, psychology, and self-understanding. Like all members of Magistri, they are masters of self-refinement and control, constantly striving to better themselves and serve their communities more effectively.

Despite being the first nara in the Magistri hierarchy, Kesento hold a position of respect and trust within society. They are the pillars that support the grand vision of the Eldorai, making them an integral part of Magistri. Their role is not just about maintaining order, but also about nurturing a community that is united in its pursuit of knowledge, wisdom, and harmony.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://animus-regnum.gitbook.io/cgar/lore/magistri/naradis-ranks/kesento.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
