It acts as the bridge between the soul and the material plane. The mind is what makes it possible for the soul to experience "reality" and it is the mind that controls our connection with the material realm and the bodies we use to explore it. It is through understanding the mental plane, we can take the energy of the spirit and convert it into matter, or what is known as manifestation.
